On 7th November 2024, Qingfeng Voluntary Team of the School of Business Administration(SBA) Volunteer Association jointly carry out a manual activity with Shouyi 701 community.
Before the activity started, the volunteers came to the activity site early, carefully put all kinds of materials in order, and when they were ready, the activity officially started. Using the video, the presenter patiently explained the methods and skills of making handmade flowers for the elderly. At the same time, the volunteers gently showed the elderly how to fold and curl the pleated paper.
The elderly people not only focus on making their own but also help others to improve their work. They exchanged ideas and helped each other with pride and satisfaction on their faces.
The person in charge of Shouyi 701 community said that they will continue to carry out more colorful activities with our school in the future to meet the spiritual and cultural needs of the elderly in the community. In the future, the SBA Volunteer Association will also be more proactive in cooperation with the community volunteer activities, and exercise the serviceability of the team in practice.
